Peaceful Heart Clinic was created out of personal passion to serve and educate the community at large. Tanya Nall and Tammy Brannen have each gone/grown through many different life challenges and we feel confident in our ability to help others. We have arrived at this mutual destination through our individual paths and have a great deal of information to share.
I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 14. I have been on a personal mission all of my life to learn the answers to such questions as: What really causes RA? What triggers a flair-up? and How do I manage my life dealing with the challenges of this dis-ease without allowing it to take over my life? I have relied on Allopathic (traditional) Medicine, taking recommended medicines and treatments. While some have been very helpful; they are costly, both financially and in terms of time and side-effects. As a result, I have devoted my life to researching and trying most Alternative/Complementary health care options. Over the years, I have studied such topics as nutrition, meditation, Energy Healing (Reiki), Hypnotherapy, and Much More!
It has been my heart's desire for many years now to share the knowledge that I have acquired. I am eager to serve and educate anyone who is struggling with a life challenge and/or just wants to explore their personal patterns in life. I believe God has been guiding me to meet the people who have educated and supported me and it is now time for me to do the same for others. Spirituality is my foundation, my passion and my source of inspiration. I look forward to meeting each and every person who is drawn to our page. I pray Blessings and Peace for everyone who visits.
I became interested in the
healthcare field after helping to care for a family member who was diagnosed
with Colon Cancer. I observed at a young impressionable age, the care and
compassion, as well as the friendship, offered by one of my grandmother’s
favorite Oncology nurses from Emory University Hospital. This kind lady was a
Registered Nurse with a big heart and very caring approach to her patients. It
was after meeting her that I decided I wanted to become a Registered Nurse. It
was also during this time that I realized how a rewarding career in healthcare
could be fulfilling both spiritually and practically. Now after 20 plus years
of nursing and many more years of care-giving (as a Mother, daughter, sister,
and a number of other roles) I have been privileged to share life experiences
with my patients and others in a variety of settings. I have gained experience by
working in hospitals, nursing homes and in-home health care. Many of my years of nursing have been spent
dealing with aging and end of life issues. I became astutely aware of how short
one’s life is and how there is a very fine line between the life here and the
hereafter. I have always believed in God, but these experiences forced me to
look at my own life and helped me to develop an even stronger faith.
Several years ago I decided to
advance my nursing career by taking more undergraduate nursing classes. While enrolled in an Alternative and
Complimentary Healthcare class I become aware of the Evidence-Based alternative
therapies that were proven effective and but were not being offered in
mainstream healthcare. These concepts intrigued me so I began on a journey to
find out more about these concepts and ideas through the years. I myself became
faced with illness and “life growth opportunities” and I began to utilize
alternative therapies to correct my own health and it changed my life. It was after this I decided to become a
Clinical Hypnotherapist so that I could offer these alternative/complimentary
approaches to healthcare to my family/friends/Patients. I so look forward to
working with others and teaching them about the benefits of hypnotherapy and
other holistic therapies.
